Q: Where is the nearest airport?
A: The Tri-Cities Regional Airport is about an hour away in Blountville, Tennessee, and services Allegiant Air, Delta Connection, and U.S. Airways Express. The Asheville Regional Airport is about an hour and twenty minutes away and services AirTran, Continental, Delta, U.S. Airways, and United. I am happy to help you with transportation to and from the airport as needed!

Q: What will the weather be like?
A: Weather in the mountains can be quite unpredictable... and the summertime is no exception. It can be hot and sticky with an average temp of 82 degrees during the day, and still be quite chilly in the evenings, so I recommend that you bring layers along with sufficient rain gear! I will also let folks know the forcast a week or so before the retreat.

Q: Will I have the opportunity to explore the area while I'm there?
A: In order to honor the retreat space of all of the participants, I will ask that you stay on the retreat grounds throughout the weekend. However, if you'd like to plan for some time before or after the retreat to check out Asheville or surrounding areas, I am happy to make recommendations or answer questions!

Because we will be staying in such a pristine environment, I will be sure to provide some extra time for laying in a hammock and taking a nap, taking a dip in a nearby swimming hole, hiking to one of several magical spots, or sitting on the front porch of the lodge and spacing out!

Q: Is there cell phone reception or internet service there?
A: Nope! And how lucky we are to step into retreat without these distractions! I will give you a phone number where you can be reached in an emergency, and you will be able to use the landline there with a calling card as you wish.

Q: Do you offer refunds if it turns out that I can't come?
A: My refund policy is as follows... If you should have to cancel, I sure would miss you tremendously, but I understand that sometimes life throws us curveballs. If a cancellation is made 30+ days before the retreat, $50 of what you've paid will be nonrefundable in order to cover administrative costs. Cancellations made 1-30 days prior to the retreat will forfeit all fees only if the space cannot be filled. If the space IS filled by another participant, you will receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee.
